Information we collect
We collect information in a few ways:

We do not typically collect any personal information but we may ask for your contact details so that we can put you on our mailing list and invite you to attend our seminars and workshops. We will not share your personal information with any third party.

 

Device-specific information
When you visit our website, our system will be able to automatically collect and store device-specific information such as your operating system version, web browser version and IP address.

 

Usage information
When you visit our website, our system will be able to automatically collect and store information related to how you used our services including: the currently visited URL (including the search query if available)

unique identifier (whenever a visitor first visits certain IMS web pages, a unique identifier will be assigned and stored locally in the web browser’s cookies. This helps us to recognize any returning visitors.)

visitor’s interactions with the web page (mouse pointer’s locations, mouse clicks, corresponding navigating key presses such as tab, enter, and arrow keys, and the target elements in the web page such as blocks of text, images, etc.)

 

 

How we use the collected information
The information we collect provides us with the data which we need to improve the IMS user experience and quality of services of the IMS website. We also use the information to help improve specific internal metrics, such as the sign-up rate of research seminars and the click-through rate of content. For example, we may use the information to determine the best way to show the IMS research seminars to users who visit the website. We may also publish our findings as part of our research. No personal information will be included in any such publications.

 

Privacy
You may set your web browser to block all cookies, including IMS’s, if online privacy is of concern to you. By doing so, you will prevent IMS from collecting your data. However, it is important to note that this may adversely affect your IMS user experience as many IMS services may not function properly without cookies.
