Overview

 

The purpose of this workshop is to provide a platform for defence scientists and mathematicians to discuss their research and exchange ideas, with a view to possible future collaboration. The theme of the workshop is on the applications of mathematics to defence science. The workshop will focus on four areas, namely computational PDE, cryptography, high dimensional data analysis, and imaging. The speakers will include four defence scientists and four mathematicians. There will also be a panel discussion on enhancing collaboration between the two groups of researchers as well as on funding opportunities for such joint interdisciplinary research.
