- Weizhu Bao (National University of Singapore)
- Weiqing Ren (National University of Singapore and Institute for High Performance Computing)
Nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) arise in many areas of applied sciences. Analysis and simulation are two basic tools for the study of nonlinear PDEs. This workshop will bring together applied mathematicians and scientists from different disciplines to exchange the latest developments in the study of nonlinear PDEs and computational sciences, identify future directions and unsolved questions, and actively initiate collaborations. The workshop also provides an opportunity for local graduate students and junior researchers to learn the state-of-the-art knowledge in muliti-disciplinary research. Topics of the workshop include: Multiphase fluid dynamics, complex fluids, solid mechanics, computational biology, multiscale methods, numerical analysis of PDEs.
