The National
University of Singapore (NUS) is Singapore’s global
university with distinctive strengths in education and
research and an entrepreneurial dimension. NUS is a
multi-campus university which spans three locations —
its principal 150-hectare Kent Ridge campus, Bukit Timah
campus and Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore at
Outram. |
More than
32,000 students from 88 countries make the University a
hub of activity and buzz. NUS offers a broad-based
curriculum underscored by multi-disciplinary courses and
cross-faculty enrichment. A special feature of NUS
education is the global dimension of its courses in
partnership with some of the world’s best institutions.
The NUS experience is complemented by a rich residential
life and abundant opportunities for artistic, cultural
and sporting pursuits. |
With its own
purpose-built performing venue, NUS is sometimes
referred to as the West End of Singapore. The
University Cultural Centre (UCC) has played centre
stage to artistes from all over the world. The
museum at
the annexe of UCC, houses three galleries: The Lee Kong
Chian Art Museum, The Ng Eng Teng Gallery and The South
and Southeast Asian Gallery. For music on-campus, check
out the events at the
